A Letter from the Commodore:

Dear Members,

What a Summer! A little wet to start but we have certainly made up for it! Perfect Sailing and Power Boating weather! Lunch was a spectacular success this year; it was wonderful to see everyone enjoying the best lunch spot in town!

As the season is coming to a close, it’s now time to recognize all our hard-working staff for all the work, extra work, helping hands and ready smiles throughout the season.

It’s important to recognize all they do, besides the lunch service, launch service, dock hands, fuel delivery specialists, staffing the dinners, running the store, and much more, they keep the grounds and plant running smoothly and do much of the required maintenance, including in the preseason and fall. Painting, cleaning, raking - they are the reason the club looks so good year after year!

And they do it with a ready smile, flowers on the tables, and always a helping hand - we are very lucky.

Now we can give a small gesture of appreciation: Please consider a contribution to the Bonus Pool. The proceeds will be collected and allocated to the staff at the end of the season.

We know we have many members who prefer the paper world, and we would not want anyone to feel left out... so we will be mailing a hard copy letter with a reply envelope enclosed. We prefer checks or cash, or you can click this link to give by credit card:  KYC 2025 Bonus Pool
