Raft-Up in Somes Sound Tomorrow

KYC vs. Northeast Harbor: Raft-Up and Match Race — August 18

Join us on Tuesday, August 18, for lunch, camaraderie and a little friendly rivalry on Somes Sound.

We will begin rafting up at 11:30 pm, giving everyone time to settle in and enjoy lunch before the real competition begins. At 1:00 p.m., KYC takes on Northeast Harbor Yacht Club in a match race—and our sailors will need a strong KYC cheering section!  

Bring your own lunch and refreshments, fly your KYC colors and come prepared to cheer loudly. Raft up coordinates will be sent closer to Race Day.  

All boats and all ages are welcome. Come enjoy the racing and help KYC make a strong showing on Northeast Harbor’s home waters!
